The Association of Industrial Microbiologists of Nigeria (AIMN) is a professional, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the application of microbiology in food, pharmaceutical, environment, and fermentation industries.
Established to address the growing need for high standards in food processing, pharmaceutical production, and waste management across Nigeria, AIMN acts as a regulatory partner, research catalyst, and professional home for microbiologists.
We work closely with national agencies such as NAFDAC and SON to establish best practices, run industrial workshops, and certify microbial technicians who keep Nigeria's public systems safe.
To promote excellence in industrial microbiology, driving sustainable economic growth through biotechnology, food security, and strict quality control protocols.
To be the leading authority on industrial microbiology and biotechnology in Africa, shaping policy, driving research, and empowering the next generation of scientists.
Scientific Integrity, Collaboration, Industrial Quality, Innovation, and Environmental Stewardship in every bioprocess and community initiative.
